The Corner Haven was launched in January 2025 out of a simple but pressing realization: many women are navigating homelessness, addiction. and isolation without consistent, relational support. 

What began as a call to serve women has unfolded through peer-to-peer connection and community outreach, meeting women not in ideal settings, but at the real intersections of life. Street corners. Sidewalks. Shelters. Conversations that don't fit neatly into programs.

The Corner Haven was formed to show up in those places and stay there. 

From the beginning, this work has been rooted in the power of presence, without rushing healing or a requirement to prove readiness. 

At The Corner Haven, we promise to:

• Lead with presence, not pressure
• Honor dignity without conditions
• Protect safety and clarity through women-focused care
• Walk alongside, not above
• Remain faithful in small, unseen moments

We believe trust is built slowly, and healing begins when someone stays. 

Our mission is to walk with women experiencing homelessness, addiction, and isolation through peer-to-peer support, community outreach, and relational care committed to meeting them where they are. 

This mission guides how we show up, how we serve, and how we steward the work.

Our vision is a future where women at the margins are no longer invisible or rushed, but supported through safe relationships, steady community, and pathways toward stability and restoration. 

The Corner Haven is becoming a place of refuge but first, it is a place of presence.

Our purpose is to create space where women are seen, valued, and not left to navigate hard seasons alone. 

We believe lasting change grows through relationships and that transformation happens most often in ordinary moments. 

The Corner Haven's work is relational, not transactional.

We are not a rescue organization.

We are not a one-time solution.

We walk with women through community outreach, peer support, and presence-based engagement, believing that choice and safety are essential to real healing. 

Our approach is shaped by faith lived quietly through action, humility, and compassion. 

The Corner Haven is a women-focused organization.

We walk alongside women who are:

• Battling addiction or in recovery
• Living in isolation or transition
• Seeking support grounded in relationship

Our women-centered focus allows us to maintain safety and trust for both those we serve and those who serve alongside.

The Corner Haven is faith-informed, not faith-imposed. 

Our values are shaped by a belief that every person bears inherent worth and deserves to be treated as such. We seek to live out faith through presence, service, and love in action without coercion or condition.
